Collage stamping...

This is the best type of stamping... just take out some inks and stamps and see what happens!!!  You will create some collage stamping that makes a great background!   If not, turn the paper over and start again.

MM163 - Wax seal technique...

Today would have been my Father's 89th birthday!   He was a wonderful Father and a very hard worker.   He was both a farmer and full-time tool and die maker supervisor!   He worked in the same factory for 47 years.... Can you imagine that??   Wow!  

So today is also "Manly Monday" and I've used a favourite and 'long standing' stamp set - Lovely As a Tree!

I first stamped a collage background and then used the oak leaf stamp and the Wax Seal technique for the focal point!

A Baby card ...from the jungle!

Mixing the old with the new....

I've blended some items from the Holiday catalogue with the new Mini Treat Bag thinlit to showcase some cute gift bags on "Saturday Step Up!"  

I stepped up the left bag by adding a shiny band across the bag, adding a second ribbon, added dot detailing to the greeting, stamped an image on the tissue paper and added stars to the tissue paper.

Looking for inspiration I often go to the website ColourQ and I found it this week for one of my class cards.

This week's challenge is Q268 with the colours: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Dusty Durango (I used Tangelo Twist) and Cool Caribbean (I used Tempting Turquoise).
