Birthday Blooms....

Here's beautiful new stamp from the upcoming Occasions catalogue - Birthday Blooms!

I gold embossed the image on watercolour paper and used my aqua painter and ink to colour the image!   Love it!

Today I've got a great colour combo for my card and I used the technique Paint Embossing for one of the embellishments.

Easter colours ....

As I set about creating the final card for May's 3-3-10, I was inspired by Easter colours.

It's difficult to see but I used the technique Paint Embossing for the dots on the balloon.

I also used:

• colour combo - Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Crushed Curry
• "Celebrate Today" stamp set (ph-137138)
• Candy Dots
• Embossing powders: Pool Party (129398), Crushed Curry (133753), White (109132)

Bright and inspiring....

Looking for inspiration I often go to the website ColourQ and I found it this week for one of my class cards.

This week's challenge is Q268 with the colours: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Dusty Durango (I used Tangelo Twist) and Cool Caribbean (I used Tempting Turquoise).

I used:

MM98 - Swap cards can be so inspiring...!

I'm in a 6 month swap with some fellow demonstrators.  What's a swap?  I make 6 of the same card and send to 6 demos.  They do the same so I receive back 6 different cards.  It's awesome for inspiration!

Today's card for "Manly Monday" is one of those cards and is simply stunning!!!  My photo doesn't do it justice.   It's a wonderful card designed by Eldonna Epp from Calgary, AB.

This would be a perfect card for any gentleman in your life celebrating a birthday, promotion, new job or just about anything.   

I love all the levels of texture in this card!!

A wedding show peek....

I'm participating in a wedding show later in September so I've been busy creating many types of wedding invitations for my display.
