Today I worked on the challenge for Sunday Stamps today with pretty soft colours for a birthday!

I love how the stenciling in the background softens the card to match the soft colours.

A beautiful Holiday door decor!

I love creating a 3D item every once in a while just for me... no purpose, no challenge ... just crafting some great ideas together!

When I saw this wooden plaque in a craft store, the idea 'popped' into my head!

What a little glue and paper can create....

Welcome to my blog today!

Looking through some craft books yesterday I found some cards using paper collage as the technique, so I thought I'd give it a try for my background on my card.

I used strips of the specialty DSP Typeset and glued them down randomly across a piece of cardstock.

I also used:

Heat embossing with decorative mask/stencil...

While at the cottage I had a chance to peruse some crafting magazines and saw this cool technique.   Use a decorative mask/stencil, Versamark ink and embossing powder to create a unique background design.

It was one of those ....WOW... moments when I finished the card and thought "man, I love this card and how it turned out"!    

It looks so much better in real life.... my photography skills don't do it justice.
