MM91 - For baby Ethan....

Welcome to "Manly Monday" and today's project is for the wee tiny little man in your life!

This card is for a baby shower I attended on the weekend for my niece-in-law who's having a little boy!

I used: 

• "Something for Baby" stamp set (w-134027, c-134030)

• Washi tape - Retro Fresh (133001), Sweet Sadie (133690)

MM90 - For all Things....

If you are one of the many admirers of the stamp set "Work of Art", then you're going to love the new "For All Things" stamp set in the Holiday catalogue.   It has that same 'watercolour' style to the images.

Today's card for "Manly Monday" uses only the 'wheat' image with the Faux Wax Seal technique.   

Of course my BIG SHOT was used to embossed the background layer and cut out the leaves, especially making it easier to use this technique on a large piece of cardstock.

I also used:

• colour combo of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede
• "For All Things" stamp set (w-135152,c-135155)

Use your DSP to alter a book!

My daughter Laura needed a small summary book of our cruise to show some friends, piano teacher, her Grandmother, etc.  

So I used a plain chipboard book (available at your local craft or dollar store in various shapes) and covered each page with DSP!!!   I mounted all the pics on Basic Black to stand out.

Project Life cards, embellishments, and pens were the perfect touch to add some info and details!

I used the Confetti Celebration DSP (133692) and Everyday Adventure pack (135298,135301) from the Project Life collections.

A wedding...all wrapped up!

One of the best wedding gifts we got many years ago, we still use everyday -  a Henckel bread knife!  So that's always our first choice as a gift for a wedding.

This past weekend we attended the wedding of a dear friend's son and... you guessed it, we gave a knife.   The box was perfect for wrapping with DSP!

Then I wanted to add a paper bow with paper roses! 
I was sooooooooo happy how it turned out.
