Burnished Vellum Technique!

Today's card is a sympathy card made with the beautiful stamp set "Butterfly Basics"!



plus a video on the technique 'burnished vellum' used for the flowers:





On the card I used:

  • colour combo: Mint Macaron, Cucumber Crush, Whisper White
  • "Butterfly Basics" stamp set (w-138813,c-138816,ph-137154)

  • Vellum cardstock (101856) 
  • Stylish Stripes embossing folder (132174)
  • Large oval punch (119855)
  • White Organza ribbon (114319)
  • pearls

  1. Always loved that technique ever since the first time I saw you demonstrate it in the Techniques Class... about 3 years ago!! Time flies when you are having so much fun! Very lovely card.
    P.S. remind me which adhesive to use with the vellum on the cardstock?

  2. Thanks Louise! I used SU glue stick on the vellum. Works beautifully and you can't see it!
