My favourite is Pumpkin Pie...

What's your favourite holiday pie?   My daughters are split - one is for pumpkin pie and the other apple!  So this card goes out to Laura for her favourite!!!

Love watercolouring...so relaxing!  Just stamp some images on watercolour paper and start colouring. 
Stash them away and pull out for a project when you want that subtle, soft look!

Retro Sketch challenge!

I knew immediately that "Swirly Bird" 's kite would be perfect for this sketch at Retro Sketches!   Have I convinced you yet that this stamp set is a MUST?

SSU60 - Lots happening on these cards!

Hello and welcome to "Saturday Step Up!"   

I stepped up the card on the left by changing the clip to glimmer paper, the greeting is embossed for 'bling', the tag is popped up with dimensionals, and created some texture with a break in the background with torn edges and added DSP.

A new technique ....!

At last week's Jammin' Community Meeting, I learned the Pillow Top stamping technique from member Grace Alton!   Here's my card with this technique!!

Great news too....The Sheltering Tree stamp set will continue into the new 2015-2016 catalogue!!!

I created the technique with a piece of acetate, sponge dauber and ink.  Daub along the edge of the acetate on a diagonal, shift the acetate and repeat.  Then repeat on the opposite diagonal.   Try it!!!

MM116 - A little reflection....

Welcome to "Manly Monday" and another technique - Reflection!

The scene is reflected in the water at the bottom of the card.

A hope....

....that the wonderful stamp set "A Sheltering Tree" is carried to the new Annual Catalogue in June!!!

There are soooooooooo many techniques that can be done with these stamps!

Here I'm showcasing the Spotlighting technique - the images are stamped in a soft light colour on the main card.  Then on a separate piece of paper, the same images are stamped in bright colours and adhered over the original.

• Circle Framelits (130911)
• 1/4" cotton ribbon (Pear Pizzazz - 134562;Early Espresso - 134560)
