Expressionistic Watercolour technique...

Today I've used the Expressionistic Watercolour technique for the focal point on my card, which works for the sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

In this technique, you ink up your stamp then spritz the cardstock with water and stamp.  The water causes the image to 'bleed' on the cardstock.  Once dried, you can re-stamp the image fully inked and see the 'watercolour' effect.

I used:

  • "Botanical Blooms" stamp set (140757)
  • "Sky is the Limit" stamp set (SAB)
  • Botanical Gardens DSP (140583)
  • Oval framelits (129381)
  • Gold Sequin trim ((132983)
  • pearls
Thanks for stopping by!
